Ex Maui soul surfer Dale Dagger first discovered Nicaragua aboard his catamaran Tonga in the late seventies. He washed ashore here after he ship-wrecked on a nearby beach. Now a decade later, Dale runs a successful surf tour company and charters his 3 boats to world-class beach breaks, reefs and points along the virgin Nicaraguan coastline. You’ll find Dale's story in the surf/adventure press; profiles of Dale Dagger have ppeared recently in Outside, Surfer, and Surfers’ Journal. His character is also has a role in the non-fiction novel Searching for Captain Zero. Here’s how Dale tells it: "I hope my tours are a reflection of who I am and why I came to Nicaragua in the first place. I didn't come for the money and to exploit the surf. I came to find a better way of life and a simpler lifestyle." |

Dale has used his local knowledge to form an exclusive real estate company specializing in walk-to-the-surf properties. Nicaragua is a place whose time has come. Long thought too rough-and-tumble for serious consideration as a retirement or investment location, Nicaraguan real estate is suddenly the darling of the international money and investment media. Dale Dagger has been living in Nicaragua for ten years and has been investing in local real estate since 1998. His Nicaraguan partner, Dennis Prado, sees to all the details of title and taxes and community relations. Dale says, "Dennis and I have properties and listings all through Southern Nicaragua. We have been working together for eight years and we have an experienced, smooth running real estate sales operation. We are ready to help you." |
