    Independence Week! July 4, 2008

Hi everyone, and happy Fourth of July for Americans and First of July for Canadians! For those who normally receive Dale's emails, you should know that NicaLand.Com has had quite a face lift. My name is Kassidy, and my great friend Chanelle and I are the new deal makers and life stylin' wheel greasers of Nica Land. We are committed to keeping you updated on all the happenings down here in this progressive, exuberant, and breathtaking country.

We had an incredible group of guys join us on the beach this past week that definitely contributed to a whole new slew of games and an eclectic vernacular. We had a week full of dance party marathons, and incredible surf. The boys got a dose of the culture in Gigante with fresh lobsters and phone calls from Flor de Caña Rum, as well as night swimming with the Ocean “phosphorescence” and rounds of competitive golf games over here in Iguana. A stay at the perfectly located white house in front of Colorado proved fantastic until having to leave early. Apparently the house manager isn't fond of girls and fun so our guys had to leave the premises and suffer through my incredible beach front condo, complete with a pool party and a hearty Cowboy Breakfast. The hardest part, as always, was saying goodbye to our new friends!
Yesterday, we had the most epic day of fishing ever with Barracudas that we couldn't run away from if we tried, and a little visit from our elusive friend....the Sailfish. My dad caught the biggest fish of his life within the first 30 minutes, I snagged the most beautiful Dorado and we filled the boat with Red Snapper and Grouper. After throwin' our surfers into the boat, we learned that the surf was the best it's been in months. Perfect barrels, big enough to fit a car in... was the word on the beach.

Come visit us down here and see what all the talk is about!
